It’s Snowing Outside Today at Asa Carlton, but Inside Safety Training Heats Up!

Not even a rare Georgia snow could cool down our mission of Quality, Safety, & Production (QSP)!  While it’s cold outside, it’s business as usual inside and things are heating up!  Richard Tole, QSP Director at Asa Carlton, Inc. is conducting new hire safety orientation and training today for two new employees as well as the annual re-training of two long term Asa employees.  “We use a combined approach of instructor led tuition, hands on equipment review and video testing to ensure our employees understand and pass the final exam.” says Richard.  “Topics we cover in our orientation and training include, but are not limited to:  HAZCOM, Fall Protection, Barricades, Reporting and Documentation, Scaffolding, Daily Inspections, Safety Partner Training for our subcontractors, PPE, Electrical, Power Tools, & Safety Incident Reporting, & QA/QC.”  Employees that pass the examination are issued the 2015 Asa Carlton, Inc. Safety Partner Decal for their hardhats.  Scott Hester, Principal and CFO of Asa Carlton, Inc. said “The safety training is a key ingredient to our QSP mission.  Our new folks learn and it is reinforced with our veterans what it means to be a QSP contractor and how that differentiates us from our competition.”
